Our insurance agent’s side door opened onto a concrete pad that would retain water after a rain; in winter it would freeze and present a safety hazard when stepping out of the house. Compounding the problem was that there was no railing to hold on to. She requested a covered porch with railings, which we tied into the existing roof, re-constructed the gutter system, and provided maintenance-free railings. She was thoroughly pleased with the end results.
