The Perfect Fix Story
As a father, husband, relative, friend and neighbor, I have been called upon many times to help fix things. Over the course of several decades, several homes, several mentors, and OK, several mistakes I have developed the skills necessary to properly maintain a house or apartment. To do the jobs required to maintain a dwelling, it not only takes skills but also tools and the experience to know the time-saving methods.
Before starting The Perfect Fix, Inc. I consulted with the aforementioned friends and relatives and heard many stories that convinced me that not everyone who owns a home is capable of fixing the things that occasionally go wrong. Even those with the capability may lack the time or inclination to undertake such work. Maybe they would rather be doing something else such as work or recreational activities. Maybe they had the capability but lost it, such as climbing ladders. Or maybe they lost the person who had the skills.
Several persons have told us that they have the need for a handyman but can’t find one; its no wonder, at this writing, the few others who provide handyman services in the Lynchburg area are doing it part-time. I am speaking now about handyman services…not contractors, builders, roofers, etc.
What does a homeowner do to fix a dripping faucet, a frayed lamp cord, and a loose porch step? He or she could call a plumber, an electrician, and a carpenter and pay each of them their minimum charge for a service call. Or he could call a handyman…if he can find one and if he is willing to have the repairs done on a weekend or in the evenings.
At The Perfect Fix, Inc. we not only know how to perform a wide variety of projects, but we also know which ones not to undertake. Sometimes you need that plumber or electrician, and when that happens, we’ll be the first to suggest that you get one. We can even recommend several fine craftsmen to help you out if the project is beyond the scope of our capabilities to perform in a timely manner. As licensed contractors, we can manage the entire project for you and hire the proper subcontractors when specialty skills are required.
Emergencies occur and at the most inopportune times. The Perfect Fix, Inc. is committed to handling them at any hour, at least to the point of damage control. Since we get new jobs mainly through referrals, we care about your satisfaction; and since your time is as valuable as ours, we will do our best to meet our time commitments
